Job Description:

The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury Five Star hotels is recruiting for a full timewaiter for our Garden Room Restaurant.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training. This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome

Expectations in this role are:

  • Restaurant set up, food and drink service and guest care to 5* standards
  • To anticipate the guests' needs to provide the Merrion's high standard.
  • To communicate to all members of the team efficiently.
  • To have an excellent knowledge of menu items.
  • To have an efficient understanding of MICROS.
  • To work with a professional manner at all times in order to provide our guests with the highest level of service.

The successful candidate will have strong guest focus, great communication skills, spoken and written English, multi-tasking ability and enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture. Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same

Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.
