Job Description:

The Merrion, a proud member of the Leading Hotels of the World, and a certified 'Great Place to Work', is recruiting for full time Experienced, Professional Housekeepersto join our exceptional Housekeeping Team.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Working alongside our experienced team, you will be offered fantastic training for all parts of your role. We are extremely proud of the consistent high standards maintained by our housekeepers

The rate of pay for this position is €17 per hour. Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.

You will be required to:

Complete the cleaning and set up of 10 guest rooms to Leading Hotels of the World standard, per day

Ensure compliance with hotel security standards

Communicate with and assist work colleagues in a polite and helpful manner

Work in partnership with the Supervisory team to ensure rooms are presented to the highest standard on a consistent basis

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous hotel experience in a 4 or 5 star property, be able to communicate through English with colleagues to a sufficient leveland will have the drive and energy to clean up to 10 guest rooms per day. The interview process will include a practical demonstration.
