The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels, is recruiting for a Housekeeping Porter.

Centrally located in Dublin with easy access to public transport, this role offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel with high standards and all necessary tools. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll receive comprehensive training. This is a rewarding role within a welcoming team environment.

Your responsibilities as Housekeeping Porter include:

  • Collecting linen from corridors regularly
  • Delivering requested items to guest bedrooms
  • Moving furniture
  • Shampooing bedrooms, public corridors, areas, chairs, and sofas
  • Assisting the Public Area Team with deep cleaning of public spaces
  • Cleaning employee changing rooms according to SOPs
  • Stocking storerooms throughout the day, ensuring items are available and space is used efficiently
  • Monitoring stock levels and liaising with Stores to maintain supply, requisitioning as needed
  • Working with a team of 3-4 Porters daily; teamwork is essential

The ideal candidate will have a strong guest focus, excellent communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English, and the ability to multitask. Flexibility to adapt to guest and business needs is essential, as no two days are the same.
