This role includes managing the day-to-day porter operations, supporting reception and guest services, and working closely with other departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences across the hotel. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support the porter team in the setup, service, and breakdown of meetings, events, and conferences. Ensure all meeting and event spaces are prepared in accordance with guest requirements, including furniture layout, AV equipment, and refreshments. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness across conference spaces and public areas. Support reception with guest arrivals and departures, including luggage handling, orientation, and responding to guest requests. Monitor and maintain all porter equipment and supplies, reporting faults or issues promptly and ensuring safe handling. Assist in training and onboarding of new porters, ensuring consistent service standards and adherence to SOPs. Communicate effectively with departments such as Events, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Who we are looking for A candidate with: Experience in a porter, concierge, or guest services role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to delegate and follow up on tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards. Physically fit and capable of lifting furniture and equipment (up to 25 kg). Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
