We are currently recruiting for a Conference & Banqueting Head Porter to join our Conference & Banqueting Team team at Dublins Leading Castle Hotel. Objective of the Role Under the general guidelines of the Departmental Supervisor/Manager, carry out all day-to-day operations smoothly and efficiently. Ensure smooth setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces in line with guest expectations, hotel standards, and health & safety regulations. Primary duties and responsibilities Oversee the setup, breakdown, and resetting of conference and banqueting rooms according to function sheets and client specifications. Coordinate with the Events and F&B teams to ensure event spaces are prepared and presented to a high standard. Ensure all equipment (AV, furniture, linen, etc.) is properly maintained and stored. Assist in managing the movement and storage of furniture and event materials. To strive at all times to exceed the expectations of all customers within the hotel and to do so in a pleasant and efficient manner in accordance with the established standards in the hotel. To adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Cashiering Procedures. To handle customer queries and complaints in a professional, efficient manner. The Person Previous experience working in a busy hotel F&B outlet is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills essential as is the ability to work as part of a team and on one's own initiative. Strong Customer Focus essential.
