Clinical sales specialist - Interventional cardiology, radiology.

Actively supporting interventional device evaluations, usage and Sales

Purpose of Role:

Achievement of sales/market share objectives, through sales and clinical support of medical devices.

Products:

Products include most interventional cardiology products with focus on procedural packs.

Customers:

Interventional Cardiologists and relevant theatre staff, managers and purchasing departments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
  • Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries
  • Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility
  • Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
  • Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace
  • Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
  • Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
  • The successful candidate must reside within or near the territory

Role Requirements:
  • Preferably +3years experience in related field and/sales (cardiology/radiology/Theatre)
  • Candidates with nursing/technician experience will also be considered
  • High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skill
  • Good administrative and IT/computing skills
  • Commercially aware, be able to manage a complex business
  • Well organised
  • Self-motivated and team player
