Position: C&Q Engineer. Location: Cork, Ireland.
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, the United States, and Puerto Rico, serving the Life Science, F&B, and Utilities industries, is seeking an experienced Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Engineer. This is a site-based role.

Job Description: This role involves working as a C&Q Engineer within a multinational life science manufacturing environment in Cork, Ireland. Strong field experience with black and clean utilities is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute C&Q deliverables for black and field utilities for an expansion project in a life science manufacturing setting.
  • Manage commissioning and qualification activities throughout the system life cycle.
  • Coordinate quality processes across project phases with a focus on C&Q.
  • Prepare deliverables such as Qualification Plans, Impact Assessments, Criticality & GMP Risk Assessments, User Requirements, DQ, Traceability Matrices, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, Quality Reports, and Master Document Lists.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations like FDA cGMPs and ISPE C&Q Guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clarity on project and C&Q requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of field experience with black and clean utilities.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar life sciences or pharmaceutical manufacturing role.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of utilities processes and technologies.
  • Experience with C&Q deliverables throughout system development.
  • Proficiency in development and execution of DQ, validation, test planning, and execution (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Team player with accountability, results-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized with strong computer skills.
  • Must possess a valid EU Work Permit and Irish Residency.
