Overview

QA Technologist – Food Manufacturing, Meath. We are hiring for a Quality Assurance Technologist to join a growing manufacturer. This role focuses on maintaining and improving the site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and driving a proactive food safety culture. It offers varied, hands-on QA work from supporting NPD and audits to managing KPIs and cross-functional continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update QMS & HACCP systems
  • Conduct internal audits and traceability exercises
  • Support NPD, ingredient functionality, and supplier approval
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints
  • Prepare the site for audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Liaise with technical teams across the supply chain


What You Need
  • Degree in Food Science or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • A passion for continuous improvement and working in a small, collaborative team
