22/08/25 Remote NegPermanent full-timeWe're partnering with a leading hygiene and food safety solutions organization to recruit an experienced Account Manager for their Food & Beverage division. This is a high-impact role managing key B2B manufacturing accounts across Ireland, with responsibility for delivering sales growth and outstanding service.
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to manage a sales budget, drive double-digit growth, and foster strong relationships with key customers and partners within your territory.
This is a remote/hybrid role where your week will consist of working from home or traveling to meet with clients. 60% travel within your territory is required.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Sales Budget Ownership: Manage and grow your sales accounts, aiming for double-digit growth in line with your targets.
- Training & Development: Enhance the skills of local sales and technical teams through targeted training sessions and field visits at key accounts.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-lasting relationships with partners and customers in your assigned territory.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and close new opportunities within your existing customer base and major accounts.
- Time Allocation: Approximately 30% of your time will be dedicated to prospecting and organic sales, with the remainder on account management and service.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with current and prospective clients to understand their needs and propose improvement plans to maintain and grow sales.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives, to ensure long-term success.
- Global Alignment: Collaborate with corporate and area managers to execute the company's global sales strategy while focusing on local implementation.
What We're Looking For:
- Fluency in English (both written and oral)
- A dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to work independently and drive results
- 60% travel within your territory is required
- A degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) is preferred, but other degrees will be considered
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
