Dublin, Ireland

Position Title: Desktop Publisher - Coordinator (Dublin)

Entity: Kroll Bond Rating Agency Europe Limited

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Summary/Overview:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency Europe Limited (KBRA Europe) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced desktop publisher (DTP) Coordinator to join our expanding Electronic Publishing (EP) team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and accurate publication of research, rating reports, press releases, and other materials on our company website. As a DTP Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with team members to convert Word documents into our proprietary publishing platform, format charts in Excel, and uphold the highest standards of brand consistency and quality. The EP team is dedicated to supporting KBRA's mission of delivering timely, transparent, and high-quality ratings and research materials. This role is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid work model, with three in-office days (Tuesday–Thursday) per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and publish rating and research reports by converting and formatting Word documents into KBRA's proprietary Swing Publishing Platform, ensuring compliance with company branding and style guidelines.
  • Format and refine charts, tables, and figures to maintain consistency and visual clarity.
  • Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in all publishing tasks, maintaining KBRA's quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with analytical teams regarding publishing timelines, status updates, and departmental processes.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, supporting the publishing process from start to finish.
  • Provide responsive customer support for users of the publishing platform.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features within the publishing platform.
  • Support website content management by posting and updating featured materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document formatting or file-related issues efficiently.
  • Perform quality control checks, including proofreading and verifying document integrity.
  • Assist with publishing support tasks as needed to meet department objectives.

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a proven track record of success in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments. Experience in financial institutions or regulated industries as a desktop publisher, presentation specialist, or word processor is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to established styles, branding, and publishing processes.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service, ensuring timely and accurate support for internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including advanced formatting for page layouts, text, charts, and tables.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing work demands and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Team-oriented mindset, thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours, when necessary.
  • Familiarity with credit ratings, bond markets, and/or debt securitization is a plus.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Publishing Platforms (e.g., EidosMedia's Methode, Prime, or Swing) is a plus.
