Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team. The property is a four-star hotel set on 130 acres of parkland with a historic estate dating back to 833 A.D.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with the overall running of the kitchen.
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality food in the assigned section; coordinate and supervise other team members in the section.
  • Prepare and garnish all food orders to menu specifications with proper plate presentation.
  • Supervise the setup of each item on menus to ensure readiness and standard of food.
  • Prepare dishes for bar, restaurant, conference, and banqueting outlets.
  • Be creative and develop new and innovative dishes.
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
  • Support fellow kitchen staff in observing hygiene and storage procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a food service environment, ideally in hotels or restaurants.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion and genuine interest in food.
  • Team player; able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
  • Flexibility in working hours; mornings/evenings, weekends, public holidays.
  • Good command of the English language.
