We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team, to help grow our business, and whose values align with what we do. The role would be 39 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with a competitive salary, at the Southern Tapes and Packaging Headquarters on Forge Hill, Co. Cork.

The Candidate

Candidates in this position should:

• Have excellent verbal and written communications skills and possess an excellent phone manner.

• Have the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.

• Be self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the occasion demands.

• Be numerate and IT literate.

• Be familiar with best practice office procedure including cash handling, telephone techniques and general reception duties.

The Role

The chosen candidate would be expected to:

• Work off their own initiative as well as take incoming and outgoing calls in the office and manage email correspondence.

• Remain knowledgeable on all products offered.

• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper supplier/customer service.

• Build long term trustful relationships with customers.

• Manage sales orders and ensure all orders are on time as scheduled.

• To deal with telephone calls/queries in an efficient and professional manner.

• To communicate professionally and effectively with staff, customers, clients and suppliers.

• To operate procedures for security of cash/cheques in accordance with the policies and procedures set down by the Company.

• To participate in any training courses as determined by the Company.
