The Organisation

The mission of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) is to advance the understanding, standards, and practice of public administration and public policy, and to build the capacity of the Public Service workforce. The IPA aims to be Ireland's recognised Centre of Excellence for Learning and Leadership Development for the Public Service.

The Role

The Director of Corporate Services, a member of the IPA Executive Leadership Team, will oversee shared services functions including Finance, Human Resources, Estates/Support Services, and Health and Safety. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, developing and implementing the IPA Shared Services Strategy, and contributing to the IPA transformation programme. The successful candidate will foster a positive workplace culture, lead high-performing teams, and collaborate effectively with ELT colleagues.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with senior experience in the public or private sector, capable of managing teams in a changing environment, with excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
