Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers entering the shop and assisting shoppers in finding the goods they seek.
  • Informing customers about the technical benefits of our product selection and confidently discussing these.
  • Merchandising in the retail unit and locating stock in the warehouse.
  • Ensuring the retail unit is fully stocked and tidy throughout the day.
  • Delivering first-class customer service at all times and increasing business by maximizing sales to each customer.
  • Reporting discrepancies and issues to the Business Manager.
  • Balancing cash registers with receipts and handling customer refunds.
Skills & Requirements:
  • A technical background or experience in trades, agriculture, building, safety, DIY, or similar roles is desirable.
  • Polite, patient, helpful, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, engaging personality.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with good communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive with the ability to bring new ideas and initiatives.
