Overview

Kare Plan is a family-owned company that values clear communication between care and office staff. We support carers with access to help from Reception, Client Care Co-ordinators, Client Care Managers, HR and Recruitment. We offer ongoing activities to build team spirit, promote carer development with internal promotions (e.g., Rapid Responder and office roles), and provide comprehensive training, including tools such as an Age Simulation Suit and a geriatric patient care manikin to build empathy and hands-on skills. We provide a wide range of training for carers in Stoma and Catheter care, Dementia and Alzheimer's care, moving and handling, and infection prevention and control. Our mission is to train and support staff so clients feel we are more than a home care company—we are one big family who care.

We Are Looking For Carers Who
  • Have started/completed care skills and care of the older person or QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent
  • Have a driver's license and own transport
  • Are reliable, dedicated, diligent and trustworthy
  • Are fluent in English both verbally and written
What You Need To Do
  • Deliver high-quality care and assistance to clients per their Care Plan (personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving and transferring, supervising medication)
  • Observe, listen and engage with clients
  • Be punctual and manage time effectively
  • Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to client needs/care
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
Job Details
  • Part-time / Flexi-time contracts
Rates and Availability
  • Training rate (2 modules in QQI): Mon-Fri €13.00; Sat-Sun €14.00
  • Paid travel time (taxable): €1.00 per 1 hour visit (no payment for first and last call)
  • Fuel bonus (Non-Taxable): up to €175 per month
  • Qualified rate (Full QQI): Mon-Fri €14.75; Sat-Sun €18.00
