Our client's Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Mullingar provides essential, family-centered care to children with disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting children and their families.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Staff and Senior Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support services to children with disabilities and their families. The successful candidates will play a key role in developing individualized care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and helping children achieve their full potential.
Positions Available:
- Staff Grade Psychologist: Ideal for early-career professionals looking to develop their expertise in a supportive team environment.
- Senior Grade Psychologist: Suited for experienced professionals ready to lead assessments, interventions, and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to support diagnosis and intervention planning.
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Work closely with families to provide emotional and practical support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers.
- Contribute to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology and CORU registration.
- Experience:
- Staff Grade: Open to newly qualified psychologists eager to develop their skills.
- Senior Grade: Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and disability experience preferred.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to family-centered and evidence-based practice.
