As a vital member of the Children's Disability Network Team, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting children and their families. The job summary:

We are seeking a skilled social worker to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored interventions for children and families. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and advocacy skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth assessments and provide targeted support to children and families
  • Offer emotional and practical assistance to families navigating the challenges of disability
  • Advocate for children's rights and promote their full inclusion in society
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists
  • Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to service planning and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Degree in Social Work and CORU registration
  • Experience: Open to newly qualified social workers or those with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience
  • Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
