A leading Medical Device company in Galway is looking for a Quality Technician - line support to join our team on a 6 month contract initially. In this role, you will help escalate quality related issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities as a Quality Technician

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, GMP practices, and BSC procedures.
  • Manage non-conforming products and perform defect analysis.
  • Support Quality Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Review and update QA documentation.
  • Perform final functional testing, product release testing, and record results.
  • Complete Active Release tasks (if applicable).
  • Write validation reports and drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist with internal and company-wide audits.
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and strong decision-making skills.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Report environmental, health, or safety concerns to the manager.

What you will need as a Quality Technician

  • Bachelor's degree Level 8 (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quality, Science, or a related field.
  • Operations experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the medical device industry or a similar sector.
