Overview

Due to continued growth, Sonas Nursing Home Group is looking for an organised and motivated Recruitment Executive to join our HR team. This is your chance to take ownership of full-cycle recruitment for both local and overseas candidates, helping us bring the best talent into our nursing homes and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You'll also manage permit applications and renewals, supporting compliance and smooth operations across our sites.

Where You'll Work: Candidates can be based in our Athlone office or Cork office, with some travel within assigned regions required.

What You'll Do
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding, for local and overseas candidates
  • Coordinate interviews and schedules for candidates and managers
  • Ensure a professional, timely, and positive experience for all candidates
  • Prepare job offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers, and compliance files
  • Manage permit applications and renewals, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, job platforms, and external partners
  • Support HR campaigns, induction plans, and general team administration
What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative support
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS/HRIS is a plus
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law, immigration, or healthcare recruitment is advantageous
