Overview

We provide environmental and engineering support to an array of industries including waste processing, manufacturing, construction and energy. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Environmental Planning Consultant to join our consultancy team. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment.

About the available position
  • Location: Kells, Co. Meath.
  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Education: Degree in relevant Planning field / Environmental Science.
  • Type of Position: Permanent full-time position
  • Experience: 2-5 years
Key responsibilities
  • Environmental planning & assessment
  • Carbon footprinting and decarbonisation planning & sustainability reporting
  • Regulatory compliance
Desirable skills
  • Embodied Carbon Calculations
  • Knowledge of waste industry
  • Knowledge of GIS mapping and spatial analysis
  • Knowledge of noise assessment
Other general requirements
  • Full EU driving licence
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the Irish planning system, EIA and AA legislation and relevant case law
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong report writing skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Collaborative – work well in multidisciplinary team, work well under pressure, client focused
