Our client, a leading Main Contractor, is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join their team on a high-profile project in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Integration & Delivery: Collaborate with senior team members to manage and integrate MEP systems for efficient project execution.
  2. Schedule Coordination: Develop, finalize, and monitor MEP installation and commissioning schedules to align with the overall project timeline.
  3. Stakeholder Meetings: Organize and document minutes for project meetings and workshops across all phases.
  4. Equipment Tracking: Monitor the progress of MEP equipment and plant, including submittals, approvals, and quality checks.
  5. Site Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee on-site MEP installation and commissioning activities, ensuring they meet planned schedules.
  6. Snagging & Quality Assurance: Support snagging processes and conduct quality inspections to ensure timely sign-off on installations.
  7. Method Statements & RAMS: Prepare and secure approval for Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) for MEP tasks.
  8. Project Reporting & Meetings: Compile summary reports and actively participate in key project meetings to maintain effective communication.
  9. Testing & Commissioning: Witness on-site testing and commissioning demonstrations to verify system functionality and performance.
  10. Client Coordination: Work closely with the Client's Facilities Teams to deliver operational training and facilitate a smooth handover.
RequirementsEducation
  • Degree or Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent expertise in Building Services principles.
Experience
  • 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in MEP operations within construction projects.
Skills
  • Strong teamwork and a proactive attitude.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety policies for safe work practices.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and MEP standards.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for meeting project goals.
