About the Job

The successful candidate will support senior colleagues in managing, integrating, and delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems into projects.

  • Support senior colleagues in managing, integrating, and delivering MEP Systems into projects.
  • Finalize MEP services installation and commissioning programmes to align with the main construction programme.
  • Chair Services Meetings/ Workshops with relevant participants at all project stages, recording minutes accordingly.
  • Track equipment and plant through various stages, ensuring quality checking is carried out.
  • Monitor and track progress of MEP installation and commissioning works on site against planned requirements.
  • Participate in formal snagging/ quality walk downs, inspecting MEP installation and ensuring compliance with the programme.
  • Prepare and issue method statements/RAMs for MEP-related matters by contractors.
  • Compile summary reports and attend main project meetings.
  • Witness on-site testing and commissioning demonstrations, liaising with clients' facilities teams for operational training and soft start.
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and understanding of Building Services Engineering fundamentals.
  • Typically 3-4 years+ post-qualification experience, with demonstrated competence in MEP on construction projects.
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication, social, and people skills to support project running.
  • Understanding of health and safety policies and practices, with a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of QMS and/or MEP Quality.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to identify and follow through on tasks required to deliver the project.
  • Clear and concise communication, excellent listening skills, and ability to articulate points appropriately.
  • Methodical and practical approach to working methods, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development, including completion of experiences in the Learning and Development Programme.
