We currently have vacancies in the greater Dublin area and Nationwide for Special Needs Assistants to support vulnerable adults and children. The applicant must have Healthcare Skills, SNA or equivalent qualifications.

Fingal Home Care CLG is a social enterprise (not-for-profit Company) providing home support to HSE clients to enable them to live independently at home within their own communities and close to family and friends.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily living assistance to Service Users with additional needs in the clients' own homes, including personal care, companionship, and various activities outside of the home to promote independence.
  • Provide input to the development and delivery of Service Users centred care plans.
  • Ensure that the Service User is treated with dignity and respect at all times, bringing any concerns to the immediate attention of the Area Care Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
  • QQI Level award in Special Needs Assistant or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a truly caring disposition.
  • Display strong attention to detail, providing all services required and being aware of anything unusual that may indicate a requirement for additional support being provided to a client.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and their relatives in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Honesty and understanding of the absolute importance of confidentiality in all Company and client dealings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
