Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Telnyx Full time

Dublin, Ireland; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA

Overview

Telnyx is an industry-leading company focused on global connectivity, building a private, global, multi-cloud IP network and hyperlocal edge technology through intuitive APIs. We are driven to modernize and automate, offering opportunities to learn and grow within a profitable, forward-looking organization. We are seeking passionate individuals who want to contribute to an industry-shaping company while advancing their skills and careers.

The Role

As a Special Operations Lead, you'll be at the center of Telnyx's most critical initiatives—working directly with the COO to take high-stakes projects from idea to launch to scale. This is not a routine role and requires fast thinking, operational discipline, and comfort operating in ambiguity. Your first mission is leading an international data acquisition effort essential to Telnyx's global AI and network expansion. You'll tackle projects across new business lines, international market entries, and company-defining initiatives.

At Telnyx, Special Operations Leads are seen as future leaders of the business. You'll gain direct exposure to executive decision-making, build systems that shape global growth, and accelerate your career in a high-growth, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with the COO/CRO to operationalize international special projects.
  • Build and execute systems, processes, and playbooks to move projects from idea to launch to scale.
  • Lead initial rollouts, align cross-functional teams, and drive measurable results under tight timelines.
  • Serve as the tip of the spear on global expansion—boots on the ground when needed.
  • Identify bottlenecks, solve problems in real time, and hand projects off cleanly to operational teams.
  • Step up to run projects long-term when needed, ensuring they stay on a path to scale.
What We Are Looking For
  • 1–10 years of experience in operations, finance, strategy, or consulting. Exceptional recent graduates with strong leadership or internship experience will be considered.
  • Relentless execution-oriented: you make things happen, fast and without excuses.
  • Comfortable operating in international, high-pressure environments with incomplete information.
  • Analytical and structured thinker: able to model problems, design solutions, and communicate crisply.
  • Hungry to learn at an accelerated pace and grow into leadership.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Why This Role Matters

This role is mission-critical to Telnyx's growth. As Special Operations Lead, you'll be entrusted with projects that shape the future of the company—from building new business lines to executing international expansions. You'll work alongside executive leadership, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making and the opportunity to run high-impact initiatives end-to-end. For ambitious operators, this is a career-accelerating role: building things that matter, at global scale, from the ground up.
