Aramark is currently looking for an experienced General Manager for Waterford University Hospital. This is an extremely hands-on, dynamic role, so you won't be afraid to get involved. You will have outstanding stakeholder management skills, be a team player, and lead from the front.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a busy shop and restaurant, and overseeing staff during evening patient feeding services.

Requirements:

  • Lead a strong team providing operational expertise in contracted services with hands-on management of operations.
  • Manage client and community relationships, continually assess operations, and develop plans to provide optimal service while driving employee and customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Build, develop, and lead a management team capable of achieving organizational objectives to the highest standards.
  • Recommend methods, resources, and implementation strategies for service improvement and growth based on operational needs and client objectives.
  • Manage budgets in partnership with Finance and assist in designing improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensure legislative compliance and maintain all related records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark's standards, including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.

Qualifications:

  • Focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship, and building a strong business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support teams.
  • Experience in delivering high-end events and hospitality services.
  • Proven leadership through managing other managers.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial controls, and analysis.
  • Experience in creating and managing sales strategies and implementing operational initiatives.
