Electrical Contracts Manager – Dublin

(Full-time, Permanent, On-Site/Hybrid depending on project needs)

About the Role

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our Operations team in Dublin. You'll take ownership of multiple large-scale electrical contracts running concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is a senior leadership role where you'll oversee Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and other project leads – driving performance, commercial outcomes, and client satisfaction across every project under your control.

What You'll Do
  • Lead electrical contracts from tender through to successful delivery
  • Oversee design development, value engineering, and project planning
  • Manage subcontractors, procurement, and specialist electrical installations
  • Monitor resources, budgets, schedules, and technical performance
  • Provide weekly progress reports (RFIs, procurement schedules, technical submittals, programme updates)
  • Chair meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
  • Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for future projects
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years' experience in the electrical contracting sector
  • A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Commercial acumen with a proven track record of successful project delivery
