Barden is proud to partner with a prominent Irish charity seeking to add a driven and socially conscious Financial Accountant to their Dublin City-based Finance team.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in leveraging their qualification to help those in need. It offers a great opportunity to gain both commercial experience and engage with senior stakeholders.

The position offers excellent progression, with a clear path to becoming a Finance Manager in a short timeframe.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role involves managing the day-to-day accounting for specific divisions of the organization. Main duties include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidation, and financial statements;
  • Participation in KPI analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and board reporting;
  • Supporting the development of FP&A processes;
  • Overseeing AR/AP team outputs;
  • Driving process improvements and managing ad-hoc projects.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified Accountant with 0-3 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
  • Genuine interest in the not-for-profit and charity sectors;
  • Industry experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Motivated, innovative, and ambitious self-starter;
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel.
