Our Purpose

In our Manufacturing Engineering Department, we support Product Value streams to meet customer and patient needs daily. Our focus is on delivering high-maturity manufacturing processes and maintaining high-quality performance. The Manufacturing Engineer II contributes to our mission to manufacture products that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Support daily production activities: troubleshooting equipment, process, and materials issues; yield monitoring; loss mitigation; Gemba & MPS activities.
  • Support quality investigations (customer complaints, in-process test failures, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain equipment, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Lead and participate in continuous process improvement projects using problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 5 Why, 6M, etc.).
  • Update and collaborate on document releases (EB documents, DHR, Op, VS, etc.) using Agile.
  • Support installation of new equipment through troubleshooting, issue resolution, and validation activities.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (minimum Level 8).
  • 2-3 years' experience, ideally in the MedTech industry.
  • Strong team player with proactive, effective cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail.
  • Experience with SAP/Agile required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks & Mainsaver.
  • Data analysis skills with Minitab, Excel, and Power BI are advantageous.
  • Demonstrate Medtronic Mindsets and possess good presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • People management experience is desirable.
