Senior Software Engineer

A leading global financial services organization is seeking an Engineering Lead to guide a team of full stack developers within its Cybersecurity architecture and engineering division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development of cloud-native web applications using technologies such as Spring Boot, Java microservices, REST APIs, and Angular/React JS.
  • Engage in hands-on design, development, and debugging of complex security-focused applications.
  • Oversee Agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams, managing inter dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
What You'll Bring:
  • Strong background in software development, particularly in Java or Python, microservices architecture, and front-end frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Ability to drive architectural decisions and maintain high engineering standards in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled at identifying, communicating, and managing risks and technical dependencies.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience within Cybersecurity in large, regulated organizations such as financial services or government.
  • Knowledge of identity frameworks, authentication protocols, and directory services (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset
