As a Licensing Operations Program Manager, you will work with the Licensing Product Managers & development teams to implement and support the licensing functionality required in support of NetApp's hardware and software portfolio. This will include leading a cross functional/divisional team through the end to end Software development lifecycle using Agile practices.
Responsibilities- Software licensing evaluation enablement – work closely with product managers, product engineering to deliver product evaluation & licensing offerings and solutions from end-to-end
- Strategize and plan new product offerings, integration of business systems and transitions of applications
- Optimize business processes – continuously work across business stakeholders and team to improve business processes and solutions
- Manage the day-to-day program operations for our Licensing management system & Portal
- Organize and lead with internal and external teams (legal, product engineering, IT, vendor) on the integration of internal/external integration of tools and requirements
- Lead agile software development team (UX, UI, back-end developers, QA) and provide UAT for new product offerings and sustaining projects
- Licensing Support – provide NetApp Support Team guidance on complex licensing issues
- Maintain core initiatives and sustaining roadmap to manage schedule, issues, risks, dependencies, and resource planning
- Experience in licensing domain, ideally with an Enterprise software or hardware organization
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work well across multiple cross functional teams
- Experience with perpetual licensing models consumption, subscription and or Cloud based licensing infrastructures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and lead cross functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including in person and remote workforce
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Experience with end to end software development programs
- Proven track record of leading & developing high performing teams in an Agile development process
- Demonstrated knowledge of setting up, implementing, & maintaining Kanban boards & Agile processes
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related analytical field
- At least three years of experience in a licensing implementation, licensing management and or licensing strategy position with an Enterprise Technology vendor
- 3-5 years of program/project management experience leading teams in an Agile environment
