Overview

We are currently looking to recruit a Leinster-based Network Field Engineer for the IMS Engineering department. Location primarily in Dublin, but covering the island of Ireland, with projects also in the UK and Europe. The successful applicant will join a highly skilled, diligent, and initiative-focused team of engineers working with services including Wi-Fi, IPTV, AV, IP Telephony, Casting, Energy Management, who take pride in every aspect of their work and uphold IMS connect values. This vacancy is a full-time permanent position. The role may involve administrative duties to strengthen our service engineer capability in Ireland, the UK, and Europe, and travel across these regions is a fundamental prerequisite.

Roles and responsibilities

• The onsite installation of the IMS connect product range including, but not limited to: Wi-Fi, IPTV, AV, Digital Signage, IP Telephony, Casting, Energy Management
• Configuration assistance onsite and in IMS connect offices with our NOC department to aid Irish and international project deployments
• Support and maintenance of IMS connect systems across client properties, with response within agreed SLAs
• Collaborate with colleagues in surveying, designing, and delivering network installations
• Onsite supervision of preferred partners and sub-contractors during installs
• Stock management – coordinating with IMS connect procurement
• Logistics management to deliver stock to projects for clients and IMS connect colleagues
• Compliance with CRM, documentation, and communication platforms
• Represent the IMS connect brand with professionalism and respect for all stakeholders
• 2+ years' experience in electrical, energy, CCTV, or networking sectors
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including preparing and completing job-related documentation
• Strong organisational, prioritising, and planning skills
• Attention to detail and high standards of quality and consistency
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Full clean driving licence
• Solas Safepass or similar CSCS card
• Willingness to travel within Ireland and internationally for service delivery, project survey, and installation work
• Manual handling and working at heights certification is desirable (training provided)
• Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
• Familiarity with ticketing CRM platforms
• Background in electrical systems to support Energy Management Solutions

Location

The successful candidate will be based in the Dublin/Leinster region and primarily serve that area, with flexibility to travel across the island of Ireland, the UK, and the EU.
