Are you looking for a rewarding career with an organisation that provides flexibility to work around family, education, or other commitments? We are recruiting Social Care Workers and Support Workers to join our relief panel in Offaly. Our residential services are located in Tipperary, including Ardfinnan, Clogheen, and Moyne.

Our wide range of services offers full-time residential support to individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities/autism in both individualized and group settings.

The shift patterns include day, evening, overnight (sleepovers and waking night duty), weekends, and holidays. This is ideal for those who want regular work but cannot commit to standard "office hours" or fixed working days.

Requirements:
  • Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Disability/Social Care Practice (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications), which are CORU approved. Candidates must be registered with or in the process of registering with CORU, or hold a HSE-recognised Fetac/QQI Level 5 Major Award or be willing to complete it.
  • A valid driving licence to operate a manual vehicle in Ireland.
  • Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities/autism.
  • Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
  • Good connections in the local community are an advantage.
  • Ability to use own initiative and plan effectively.
  • Basic IT skills, including email, Word, and relevant systems.
  • Suitability as outlined in the role introduction.
