The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it's essential that our sales rep be personable and professional.

We are currently seeking Sales Representatives for Athlone | Cork | Dublin | Galway

Main Duties:

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, this will include weekly site visits.
  • Should ensure that all projects are running smoothly.
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Seek deposits and clarity around payments.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Liaise with NorDan Vinduer Site Coordinator and the Estimating Department.
  • Liaise with Sales Representative team on an ongoing basis.
  • To be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
  • To proactively seek and act upon genuine sales leads.
  • Cold calling.
  • To be responsible for the achievement of both personal and sales department budget targets.
  • To maximise the use of all resources and maintain costs at agreed levels.
  • To communicate effectively with the relevant personnel on the company wide team.
  • Exhibit behavioural styles that convey confidence and command respect from others, making a good first impression and representing NorDan Vinduer in alignment with its values.

Customer Care and Service Excellence

  • Provide excellence in customer care and service to all of our customers allowing us to achieve our vision.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Create an environment which promotes employee morale and encourages the Team to have pride and commitment in their area of work.
  • Maintain a harmonious work relationship with both Managers and fellow employees.
  • Communicate positive attitudes, sincere interest and responsiveness to other's needs and to interact in a positive way with management, fellow employees, and customers alike.
