Job Description:

Focus Ireland is recruiting Relief Panel Project Workers to support our services in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the field of social care, allowing you to work in a range of services and develop your professional practice to an exceptional standard.

Offering a wide range of shifts available seven days a week, you can select those that best align with your availability. With flexible scheduling, you have the opportunity to build a work schedule that suits your lifestyle and commitments.

What you will do:
  1. Work within the framework of the overall objective of Focus Ireland and uphold the Focus Ireland values.
  2. Work on a relief basis as part of a team within the policies and procedures in place for the project or as directed by the project leader, assistant project leader or section manager.
  3. Cooperate with other teams within Focus Ireland and other Statutory and Voluntary Agencies as deemed appropriate.
  4. Record and maintain records on a relief basis in relation to the project and individual clients in accordance with statutory requirements and health and safety legislation.
  5. Attend and participate in team, review and agency meetings as required.
  6. Assist in the implementation of the settlement policies and strategies of Focus Ireland.
  7. Work closely with and cooperate with other Focus Ireland projects.
  8. Undertake other duties as might be reasonably assigned to you from time to time in consultation with the Project Leader.
  9. Observe all Health, Safety and Welfare at Work regulations and notify management of any risks or concerns you may have.
What you will need:
  1. A relevant Third Level qualification at degree level (e.g., social care, psychology, sociology).
  2. Proven direct work experience in relief/part-time work in a social care setting.
  3. Experience of supporting marginalised clients/groups.
  4. A working knowledge and understanding of the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model.
  5. Some experience of key working, assessments, and care planning.
  6. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  7. Reliability and flexibility.
  8. Excellent report writing and IT skills.
