Delicatessen Manager Buttevant Cork We at Blue Forge Recruitment, are working with a well-known retail business in North Cork, who is hiring for a senior and experienced fresh food Deli Manager who has vast experience working in a busy cafe with a superior fresh food offering, some type of deli operation, catering or a supermarket fresh food environment would be ideal if you have Supervisor or Senior Staff experience. We are looking for someone reliable, organised, capable of handling fresh food orders, leading and supervising a team of up to 10 in the deli department, and able to delegate and ensure work is completed to a high standard as well. This fresh food Deli Manager job typically involves early Monday - Friday morning shifts, with occasional Saturday requirements to mid-afternoon. DOE, our client will offer a generous salary of up to including 10% staff discount The ideal candidate for this Delicatessen Manager Job: Previous management experience working with food in a busy customer-facing environment, Strong with stock control experience, handling orders for large quantities of different fresh food offerings. Holding high standards in your expectations of customer service, cleanliness and merchandising fresh food displays. Strong organisational skills Confident in directing staff to complete work, maintaining relationships and building rapport with your team, delegate tasks to be completed on time and ensuring the standards of work is to the highest standard Be able to work both in a team and on your own initiative Competent in all areas of food safety and HACCP Responsibilities for this Delicatessen Manager Job North Cork: Oversee the running of busy deli production, ready-made meals, hot counter, cold food offering and salad bar Responsible for up 12-15 staff members, organizing work to be completed on time Ensuring the department has the correct amounts of stock to trade for the week, using technology and sales reports to analyze stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage. Staying on top of all food safety protocols like hygiene records and HACCP records Maintaining the standards in the fresh food departments, ensuring your teams know the expectation of work required of them, Training and coaching personnel to follow procedures and excel in their roles to increase department performances by increasing productivity and customer service.
