Are you a Tax Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity in Dublin? We are currently working with a prominent client in the sustainable packaging industry. This company is rapidly growing and expanding its presence in Dublin.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work as a Tax Analyst within the broader finance team. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a crucial role in supporting various finance teams globally by providing expertise on a range of tax issues in multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer support and guidance to local finance teams to ensure they meet their tax compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to prepare and file the company’s corporate tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Engage with tax advisors on various tax matters as they arise.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws that may impact the business.
  • Assist with Group projects, including potential M&A activities and tax reviews.
  • Manage tax audits and queries from tax authorities when necessary.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of Group and local entity transfer pricing policies and procedures.
  • Build strong working relationships within the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Holds a professional accounting and tax qualification.
  • 1-2 years post-qualification tax experience.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and tax technical skills.
  • Experience with both direct and indirect taxes is highly desirable.
  • Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of business operations.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritise tasks effectively.
