My client, located in Donegal, is in search of a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and involves overseeing the financial aspects of the AIFM.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly and quarterly bookkeeping processes for the AIFM
  • Aid in preparing the annual statutory accounts for the AIFM
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with the Tax team to ensure accurate tax reporting
  • Review and support VAT returns
  • Monitor cash balances, branch results, and group AP/AR functions
  • Coordinate with finance colleagues to ensure adherence to transfer pricing policies
  • Gather finance data from the branch network in Europe
  • Provide support to the local CEO and department/branch heads as needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
  • Prior experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in technical accounting, particularly in regulatory and statutory reporting
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across various sectors
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and adjust priorities accordingly
  • Superior analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
