Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Health and Safety Officer within UCD Safety, Insurance, Operational Risk & Compliance Office. The UCD Safety, Insurance, Operational Risk and Compliance (SIRC) Office is tasked with advising the University on a broad range of subjects including workplace health and safety and insurance matters. Under the direction of the SIRC Manager (or their nominee), the successful candidate will be a key member of the SIRC Office's health and safety team, delivering a high-quality safety and insurance framework for the University. The appointee will proactively provide workplace health and safety advice, undertake safety audits, develop and provide safety training, produce risk assessments and safety statements, carry out DSE assessments, support the implementation of the university's safety management system, and any other duties as may be prescribed by the SIRC Manager.
