About the Role: As a key player in the AIOps team, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge analytics solutions for observability, incident response, and change management within Cloud. Your expertise will help build an intelligent operations and management platform focused on self-optimisation and self-healing processes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and operational teams to tackle challenges in cloud observability and change management. Dive deep into product and technical metrics, identify problem areas, and create innovative solutions. Contribute to business plans and technical requirements, gaining approval from stakeholders within the cloud ecosystem. Utilise machine learning, statistical learning, and optimisation techniques to develop scalable solutions that enhance SRE efficiency and reduce costs. Transform analytics and optimisation modules into effective research proof-of-concepts or production-ready systems. What We're Looking For: Educational Background: PhD in a relevant field (Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Math, etc.). Experience: Extensive experience in DevOps, SRE, or adjacent domains, with previous experience at cloud service providers applying analytics and optimisation techniques. Technical Skills: - Excellent coding proficiency in Python or Java. - Experience deploying open-source solutions. - Strong mathematics and statistics foundation. Bonus Skills: - Experience in SRE is highly advantageous. - Knowledge of foundation model fine-tuning and AI agent development is a great plus Why Join?
