Your Opportunity:

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be working alongside seasoned software engineers. Tenable has many products, some of which are unique in the industry, that are recognized as best in brand. You will:

  • Collaborate with other engineers within an Agile development environment.
  • Learn the skills necessary for developing software in a fast paced, quality oriented environment.
  • Participate in design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Write pragmatic code and strive for simplicity, while bringing technical insights into how to refine and improve the system, ultimately ensuring performance, stability, and an exceptional end user experience.

What You'll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a bacheloru2019s degree in a related field
  • Experience developing in languages such as: Java, Korlin, C, C++, Python
  • Experience with data storage solutions (eg. Elasticsearch, Dynamo, RDS, SQL)
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platform (Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack)

And Ideally:

  • Experienced working on teams with heavy emphasis on DevOps, Automation, and Quality
  • Experienced using DevOps and Automation tools to deploy, test, and support your service in a CI/CD fashion
  • CI/CD Build Servers (Jenkins, TravisCI, Bamboo, TeamCity, etc.)
  • Environment deploy/orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, etc.)
  • Stays abreast of new technologies and methods of building high quality software (books, conferences, meetups, etc.)
