About The Role
As an In-House Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top talent to support our company's objectives. Your main responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Drawing on your expertise in recruitment agency/ in-house recruiting environments, you will provide guidance to managers on best practices, while also implementing innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.

What You Will Be Doing
• Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on best practice recruitment techniques.
• Utilising creative sourcing methods to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
• Maintaining a talent pool of qualified candidates for various roles within the company.
• Actively participate in career fairs, school visits, and other recruitment events to promote Murphy.
• Managing the recruitment and onboarding process, including drafting offer letters, contracts, and facilitating induction sessions.
• Arranging and conducting interviews for positions across various levels within the organisation.
• Proactively engaging in transformational change initiatives, offering innovative solutions to recruitment challenges.
• Taking a lead role in facilitating monthly inductions for new hires.
• Assisting with the management of our graduate programme, apprenticeships, internships, and work experience placements.
• Collating data for reporting and metrics.
• Handling recruitment-related administrative tasks, including processing invoices and maintaining recruitment records.
• Supporting the Resourcing Business Partner as required.
• Travel to the UK may be required occasionally.

What We Are Looking For
• Qualifications: Degree qualified in relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a recruitment agency environment is essential; in-house recruiting experience is also advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively source and attract talent is essential.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms, particularly Success Factors, is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent administration and IT skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools is essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior managers, applicants, and candidates is essential.
• Proficiency in interviewing candidates across different levels of roles is essential.
• Previous experience in the Construction and Engineering Industry is desirable.
• Proven track record of creating a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Experience in managing and coordinating recruitment events, such as career fairs.
• Experience with facilitating induction sessions and onboarding new hires.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
• Experience with processing recruitment-related invoices is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
