Mortgage Advisor

Our client, a leading financial services with operations nationwide, are looking to add a Mortgage Advisor to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have worked in mortgages for 2-3 years and be comfortable meeting clients on a face-to-face basis. This is an exciting opportunity for those with previous experience working in a Bank/Credit Union who are looking to progress their careers in the world of mortgages. Responsibilities: Meet with customers to understand their financial situation, goals, and preferences. Assess their eligibility for a mortgage by analysing the customers financial situation. Provide expert advice based on their needs. Facilitate funds drawdown once contracts have closed. Build strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support throughout the mortgage journey. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Consumer Protection Code and Central Bank guidelines). Qualifications and Skills: QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor) designation is ideal, however APAd in Loans is the minimum qualification for this role. Experience in providing mortgage advice and dealing with mortgage customers face-to-face and/or processing applications is preferable but not essential. Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
