Role summary The Senior Group Finance Manager is responsible for the management of all internal and external financial reporting with a focus on continuous process improvement in a dynamic and high performing team. Key responsibilities and duties Prepare internal and external financial reporting including ownership of monthly consolidation and Board pack Prepare/review Group annual and half year consolidated financial statements Manage the group financial reporting team through effective leadership and coaching Process improvement of both the financial reporting and forecasting function Project manage the annual report process requiring interaction with stakeholders across the business as well as external design consultants Project manage the annual budget and quarterly reforecast of group overhead costs requiring interaction with senior management across the business Manage internal audit function Act as the primary day to day point of contact for Group auditors Project manage the single entity statutory audit process with review and coaching responsibility for financial statements prepared by other members of the Group Finance team Assist the Investor Relations team with specific ad hoc queries and information requests Review any technical accounting queries as and when they arise particularly in relation to acquisition activity. Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.
