We are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. Role Overview: As a part-time Practice Nurse, you will work directly with patients and support the clinical team in delivering excellent care. You will perform a variety of nursing duties, including but not limited to administering vaccinations, phlebotomy, ECGs, wound management, smear taking, managing chronic conditions, conducting health assessments, and providing general nursing support. Key Responsibilities: The role may include but is not exclusive to: Telephone triage & advice General phlebotomy Ear care ECGs Wound care and management Post operative suture removal Treatment of warts and verrucae/cryotherapy (not sure if we would offer this) Health Promotion and Education Record and maintain accurate patient records in line with clinic procedures. Assist with sample collection and point-of-care testing. Work collaboratively with doctors and other clinical staff. Auditing patient care and practice services Maintenance of Emergency Equipment Drafting practice protocols Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical policies and procedures. Person Specification: Qualifications: Registered General Nurse with valid NMBI registration. Experience: Previous experience in a GP practice setting essential. Skills: Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using electronic patient management systems (experience with [insert system name, if applicable] is an advantage). Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Additional Requirements: A compassionate and patient-centered approach. Strong commitment to continuous professional development. Ability to manage a varied workload in a busy clinical environment.
