Job description: Quality Intern WuXi Biologics are seeking a Quality intern for a 12-month placement to join our dynamic team of engineers and scientists. As a Quality intern, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained through your university studies to a real-life working environment within the bio-pharmaceutical industry. Department Description As Quality internyoull be joining an organization where people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected, and where we work together focused on changing lives. Your Responsibilities As an intern you will be responsible for a range of duties including: Review batch production records, including liaising with other QA teams or other departments, such as Manufacturing and Supply Chain/ Warehouse, to resolve any discrepancies noted during the review. Support the DS QA and WH QA in provision of online support for Manufacturing and Warehousing activities. Support the DS QA and WH QA investigating quality related deviations. Support batch record review metrics including maintenance of the batch record review tracker. Preparation of batch disposition documentation. Compilation of batch disposition packs. Organisation, scanning and filing of batch paperwork. Support controlled document issuance, as required. Support the Quality Monitoring program in Warehouse and Manufacturing areas. Support the GMP Release program in Manufacturing and Warehouse areas. Support Client Audits and Health Authority Inspections, as required. Support drafting and revision of SOPs relating to QA Operations team, as required. Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents. Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the QA Lead DS Manufacture and QP. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of your work, follow company policies and procedures, and actively seek out opportunities to learn and grow within the bio-pharmaceutical industry. You will have gained insight into the workings of a global organization and a highly efficient technical team. Education Pursuing a third level undergraduate or post graduate qualification in a relevant Science or discipline. For example, but not limited to: Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Science. Knowledge/Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment. Shows strong work ethic and self-motivation to find solutions when presented with challenges.
