Position Overview: As an Senior MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring optimal patient care. You will be competent to perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and students, providing guidance and support. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation. Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Develop and implement MRI protocols and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies. Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to stay updated with advancements in MRI technology and practices. Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the MRI department. Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Eligibility Criteria: Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography. Must hold CORU registration Competent in using Siemens scanners Extensive experience in MRI imaging, with strong technical and clinical skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Have the ability to work independently on his/her own initiative and as a member of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have proven ability to work under pressure, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
