Senior Accounts Payable Specialist We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced team where youll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and accuracy across the accounts payable function. As a Senior Specialist, youll mentor a talented Junior A/P Specialist, improve processes, and foster strong vendor relationships, all while ensuring the integrity of financial transactions. The role will also involve some support of the payroll function. Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and support an Accounts Payable Specialist, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and accuracy in invoice processing and payment procedures. Invoice Management: Lead the review and approval of invoices, ensuring alignment with company policies and financial standards. Vendor Relations: Develop a deep understanding of vendor management, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and maintain strong, proactive relationships to resolve inquiries and disputes. Reporting: Prepare insightful reports on accounts payable metrics, payment cycles, and outstanding invoices for senior leadership. Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with finance, procurement, and other key departments to streamline processes and address operational challenges. What Were Looking For: Leadership: A proven track record in leading and motivating teams to drive results and maintain high standards of performance. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy in financial transactions, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze financial data, trends, and process flows to make informed decisions and improve practices. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with teams and vendors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or part-qualified accountant. Significant experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll, with international payroll experience considered a plus. A valid driving license and personal transport is essential as the office location is not accessible via public transport. Why Join Us?
