The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Sr. Director, EMEA DC & Transportation you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead a team of approx. 50 logistic professionals across EMEA plus several internal DC's

  • Lead the DC network consisting of approx. 25 EDCs, RDCs, LDCs and Supply Chain Warehouses

  • Define and implement the EMEA Distribution Center Strategy

  • Design the organization that allows to meet the overall targets

  • Lead the transportation for EMEA including inbound and outbound freight

  • Establish a Safe Sustainable Operations – Safe places to work with reduced Hazards and Risks, drive for sustainability

  • Leverages strong project and change management skills to drive continuous improvements for the categories. Introduces innovative strategies for Supplier excellence.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing lean methodologies, process optimizations to achieve cost reduction targets.

Your Skills and Expertise 

  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a virtual international team that is split over multiple countries and regions and others.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience across the logistics processes and organization

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and strengthen organizations, build teams, bring our customer needs to life and effectively motivate and energize organizationally.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain/engineering or business-related field, technical degree preferred

  • Significant experience in logistics, manufacturing and continuous improvement environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree Supply Chain/Engineering or business-related field from an accredited institution

Work location:

  • Athlone

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require time in the office and travel to the other DCs across EMEA region)

Travel: May include up to 30% (international)

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
