Company Intro / Summary A leading civil engineering contractor in Dublin is seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. The company has a strong track record delivering infrastructure and civil works projects across Ireland and is offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment with clear progression opportunities. Responsibilities Assist senior surveyors in managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects. Support the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation. Help monitor costs, variations, and valuations throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotations and manage procurement. Carry out site measurements and prepare progress reports. Contribute to accurate cost reporting and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Develop commercial awareness while working alongside experienced senior staff. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline. 13 years experience in a QS role (civils background preferred but not essential). Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Eager to learn and progress within a leading contractor. Package €40,000 - €50,000 DOE. Company pension scheme. Discretionary annual bonus. Company vehicle provided.
