Cavan has been in operation for over 50 years. We have an exciting opportunity for General Operatives, who will report to the Production Manager and will work as part of a team within the Plant. These roles will be required to work shift including weekends and night Responsibilities Operation of plant, which includes responsibility for two (2) dryers drying EMP and MPP. Evaporation Plants. MPP Filtration and Evaporation plants. Milk Separation and Cream Despatch SMC and Milk Permeate Intake and despatch. Vegetable oil intake. Achieve agreed KPIs relating to Health and Safety, hygiene, through put, quality, energy efficiency and losses, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. Adherence to general GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and hygiene standards and maintain work area in a clean and tidy condition Various ad hoc duties as assigned by your manage Requirements Familiarity with manufacturing process. Good technical ability to understand plant and processes with previous plant operator experience an advantage. Ability to learn quickly, to be innovative and show initiative with respect to work processes. Flexibility and motivation to seek improvements on a continuous basis. Good communication skills. Computer literate with an aptitude for understanding and applying technical data and information in line with plant performance and efficiency.
